This hop-on hop-off tourist bus makes different stops throughout the city, allowing you to enjoy the main points of interest Dublin has to offer in total comfort. The bus offers a different point of view, thanks to its two floors and convertible roof.

Route and Stops

The bus takes two routes with a total of 48 stops, throughout which you can enjoy recorded commentary in English about the places you are passing through.

Some of the most interesting stops are: Trinity College, Christ Church Cathedral, St. Patrick's Cathedral, The Guinness Storehouse, O'Connell Street, Kilmainham Prison, Kilmainham Hospital, Phoenix Park, The National Museum and The National Art Gallery.

How it Works

The ticket is valid for 24 or 48 hours. Independent of the hour at which you first use it, it will be valid until the end of the day.

During this time you can get on and off the bus whenever you like, to visit the various attractions Dublin has to offer.

Important Information

Although when making the reservation you will be asked for a start date, you can use the service up to 15 days following this date.

When making the reservation we will send you an email with a ticket which you must hand in to the visitor's centre at 118 Grafton Street in order to exchange it for your bus ticket.

Timetable and Frequency

Red Route

  • April to October: Leaves daily between 8:45 am and 6 pm, every 15 minutes
  • June to August: Leaves daily between 8:45 am and 7 pm, every 10 minutes


Blue Route

  • April to October: Leaves daily between 9 am and 3:30 pm, every 20 minutes.
  • June to August: Leaves daily between 9 am and 4 pm, every 20 minutes.


With each adult ticket, two children under 12 can travel for free: you don't have to buy their ticket.


The ticket for the Dublin Tourist Bus can be picked up in the Dublin Visitor Centre, 118 Grafton Street.
